Our Jawesome Smiles program, gently introduces children to dental care in the comfort and safety of their own home. Our mobile child dental service is designed to create positive first experiences, helping little ones feel relaxed, confident, and curious about looking after their teeth.

We proudly support children with additional needs, including patients with Autism and sensory sensitivities. Every session is adapted to your child’s individual communication style, sensory preferences, and pace. Using visual supports, predictable routines, and gradual, low-pressure exposure, we create a calm and reassuring experience that builds trust and confidence. Our goal is to make dental care feel safe, familiar, and empowering for every child.
Desensitisation Through Play

INITIAL EXAMINATION/CHECK-UP $100 (for 1 child, additional children $80 per child)
The first appointment will take a bit longer as we need to ask you lots of questions and we are sure you will have lots of questions for us too! Included in our appointment time will be a thorough assessment of the mouth and structures including teeth, gums, lips, cheeks, tongue, jaw. We will also screen your childs dental growth and development, and provide toothbrushing demonstration and instruction. We can review your childs nutrition for any concerns that may contribute to dental disease.
Appointment time: up to 60-90 min
FOLLOW UP EXAMINATION/CHECK-UP $80 per child
This appointment is usually 3-9 months after the initial examination/check up, and is shorter as we are generally following up if there are any changes since the initial examination.

NUTRITION $NIL
We can review your childs nutrition for any concerns that may contribute to dental disease.

TOOTHBRUSHING & FLOSSING DEMONSTRATION (during home visit) $NIL
Effective brushing & flossing techniques are essential to maintain good dental health in between dental check ups. We can help by demonstrating the best technique to suit your needs. We can also advise the most appropriate type of dental products to suit your needs.
Appointment time: included in initial or follow up appointment
CLEAN up to max $80
This appointment includes the removal of plaque, and/or calculus (tartar). We may use a disclosing solution that highlights the plaque and calculus.

REMINERALISATION up to max $50
Some teeth at a higher risk of developing tooth decay may benefit from an application of fluoride or another remineralising agent. We will discuss your child's suitability and the options available.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT (no extra charge)
Naomi has a particular interest in supporting children with additional needs. She brings many years of experience working with patients who are Autistic and patients who require extra support, providing compassionate, patient, and individualised care at no additional cost.

NERVOUS/ANXIOUS (no extra charge)
We aim to make the dental experience as fun, interactive and stress free as possible! This may mean we take things slowly and go at the child's pace. Sometimes it can take a few visits before a highly nervous patient will let me look at their teeth, but each visit is an achievement towards progress. To support your child's progress please read through our APPOINTMENT section. To help desensitise your child its ideal to book your child in for their first dental check up as early at 1year old, and then regular checkups after that, much like a hairdresser appointment treat it casually and just something we all do.
REFERRALS (no extra charge)
Our assessments may include gathering information on the child's general growth and development as this may help in providing appropriate referral pathways to other health care professionals such as; orthodontists, speech pathologists, ears nose throat specialists, and pediatric dentists.
